Working Together for a Better Redbridge & Millbrook

Redbridge & Millbrook has been selected to benefit from £20 million of government investment over the next 10 years through the Pride in Place programme. This is an exciting opportunity for local people to help shape the future of their neighbourhoods and make a real difference to the places they live, work and grow up in.

Our Story

Your Community. Your Voice. Your Future.

This programme is about more than just funding. It is about giving local people a genuine voice in shaping their neighbourhoods.

We want everyone to have the opportunity to get involved, share their ideas and help build a stronger, safer and more connected community.

This is your community, your investment and your opportunity to help shape the future of Redbridge & Millbrook.

Together, we can make a difference.

How Our Board Was Formed

To ensure that local people are at the heart of the programme, a Neighbourhood Board was established, bringing together residents, community representatives and people from local organisations and services who share a commitment to improving Redbridge & Millbrook.

The Board is led by an Independent Chair and includes people with a range of experiences, knowledge and connections to the local area.

Our role is to make sure that the £20 million investment is shaped by the people who know our communities best – the people who live here.

What Are We Doing Now?

We are at the beginning of an exciting 10-year journey.

Our immediate priority is to listen to local people and understand what matters most to them. We want to hear what residents love about Redbridge & Millbrook, what they would like to see improved and what changes would make the biggest difference to their lives.

We are working with local communities through engagement events, conversations, surveys and other opportunities for people to share their ideas.

The feedback we receive will help the Board develop a 10-year Neighbourhood Plan, setting out the priorities for investment and how we can create lasting improvements across Redbridge & Millbrook.

We are also developing opportunities to support local community groups and projects that make a positive difference in our neighbourhoods.
